Quotes, Estimates, and Price Adjustments
We aim to provide accurate, transparent pricing. However, quotes and estimates may be based on information you provide, property condition, square footage, service type, frequency, photos, access details, expected scope, and other assumptions.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing, charge hourly, reschedule, or decline service if:
- The property condition or service scope differs from the information provided;
- The estimated time, labor, or supplies required is significantly higher than expected;
- There are safety, access, biohazard, pest, hoarding, construction debris, excessive clutter, or other concerns;
- Required utilities, parking, or access are unavailable;

If a price adjustment is needed, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by phone, email, SMS, or other available communication method before proceeding where practical.
Parking, tolls, special disposal fees, required supplies, or other service-related costs may be added to your invoice when applicable.

Payment is due at the time of service, upon invoice receipt, or according to the payment terms stated in your estimate, invoice, service agreement, or client account.
We may accept ACH, credit card, debit card, check, or other approved payment methods. Accepted payment methods may change at our discretion.
You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize Sunny Butler or its payment processors to charge approved payment methods for services, deposits, cancellation fees, late fees, recurring services, add-ons, and other amounts owed.
Late, failed, disputed, or returned payments may result in service suspension, cancellation, additional fees, collection activity, or refusal of future service.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least one business day's notice before your scheduled service.
If proper notice is not provided, or if our team arrives and cannot perform the service due to lack of access, unavailable utilities, unsafe conditions, missing instructions, or other client-controlled issues, we may charge a cancellation, lockout, or trip fee.
Examples include:
- No key, code, concierge authorization, or access method provided;
- No running water or electricity;
- Pets not secured;
- Parking or building access unavailable;
- Client cancels after the notice window;
- Conditions make the service unsafe or outside scope.
Access to Property
You are responsible for ensuring we can access your home, business, building, unit, or service area at the scheduled appointment time. You may need to provide a key, lockbox code, door code, alarm code, concierge instructions, parking details, gate access, or other entry information.
If we cannot access the property, we may cancel or reschedule the service and charge an applicable fee.
You are responsible for ensuring that any access instructions provided are accurate and authorized.
Delays and Arrival Windows
We make every effort to arrive on time. However, traffic, parking, weather, prior jobs, building access, supply needs, and other circumstances may cause delays.
Our cleaning technicians and service providers are allowed an arrival window, generally up to two hours, unless a different window is communicated. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of significant delays.
Cleaning Supplies and Equipment
Sunny Butler provides standard cleaning supplies and equipment needed to perform most services.
If you prefer that we use specialty products, client-provided products, or specific equipment, you must tell us in your special account instructions before service. We are not responsible for damage, poor results, allergic reactions, surface reactions, or other issues caused by products, tools, or equipment provided or requested by the client.
We reserve the right to decline the use of any product, tool, or equipment we believe is unsafe, ineffective, inappropriate, unlabeled, expired, or likely to cause damage.
Client Responsibilities Before Service
To help us deliver efficient, high-quality service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate service details, property information, and access instructions;
- Secure valuables, fragile items, cash, jewelry, documents, firearms, medications, and sensitive items;
- Secure pets before arrival;
- Provide running water, electricity, and safe working conditions;
- Notify us of delicate surfaces, damaged items, special materials, or areas requiring extra care;
- Disclose known hazards, pests, biohazards, mold, bodily fluids, needles, unsafe conditions, or other risks;
- Ensure service areas are legally accessible and authorized for us to enter.
Pets
We love pets, but they must be secured during service for the safety of our team, your pets, and your property.
If a pet interferes with service, creates a safety concern, escapes, becomes aggressive, or prevents access, we may pause, skip areas, reschedule, or refuse service. Sunny Butler is not responsible for pets that are unsecured, escape, become injured, soil cleaned areas, or otherwise interfere with service.
Safety, Biohazards, and Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse, stop, pause, or reschedule service if we determine that conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, outside scope, or inappropriate for our team.
This may include, but is not limited to:
- Biohazards;
- Human or animal waste;
- Blood or bodily fluids;
- Active pest infestations;
- Mold or hazardous materials;
- Needles or drug paraphernalia;
- Hoarding-level clutter;
- Excessive trash or debris;
- Fire, smoke, or water damage;
- Aggressive pets;
- Harassment, threats, or unsafe behavior;
- Lack of utilities;
- Unsafe temperatures, structures, or working conditions.
Fees may still apply if service cannot be completed due to conditions that were not disclosed in advance.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to be happy with your service. If something was missed or not completed to the agreed scope, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment.
We may request details, photos, or other information so we can assess the concern. If appropriate, we may offer a correction re-clean or other remedy at our discretion.
Our satisfaction guarantee applies to the agreed service scope and does not cover:
- Items or areas not included in the original service;
- Conditions that reoccur after service;
- Damage or issues caused by third parties, pets, guests, tenants, weather, construction, pests, or client-provided products;
- Expectations not communicated before service;
- Services where access or time was limited by the client.
Refund Policy
Because cleaning and home services are personal, labor-based, and condition-dependent, we generally do not offer refunds once service has been performed.
If you are not satisfied, our satisfaction guarantee is the primary remedy. We will review concerns in good faith and determine whether a correction re-clean, credit, partial adjustment, or other remedy is appropriate at our discretion.
Damages, Breakage, and Liability
We take care when performing services, but accidents can happen. Sunny Butler is insured and bonded where applicable; however, we are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage;
- Wear and tear;
- Improperly installed, loose, unstable, or already damaged items;
- Items not properly secured before service;
- Fragile, sentimental, irreplaceable, high-value, or delicate items not disclosed in advance;
- Damage caused by client-provided products, tools, or instructions;
- Damage to surfaces or materials that are not properly sealed, maintained, labeled, or disclosed;
- Loss or damage caused by third parties, pets, guests, tenants, building staff, or other service providers.
You must report any alleged damage within 24 hours of service. We may request photos, documentation, or an opportunity to inspect the issue. Failure to report damage promptly may limit our ability to investigate or provide a remedy.
Confidentiality and Privacy
We respect your privacy and property. We will not intentionally share information about you, your home, your account, or your property except as needed to provide services, operate our business, comply with law, work with trusted service providers, or as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may take photos, notes, checklists, or other documentation related to service delivery, quality control, training, damage claims, estimates, before-and-after comparisons, or client support.
We will use such materials responsibly and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not publicly use identifiable photos of your property for marketing without permission where required.

- Appointment reminders and service updates;
- Arrival notices, access issues, and schedule changes;
- Customer support and satisfaction follow-up;

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary based on your service schedule, account activity, and communication preferences. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send important non-marketing communications related to active services, bookings, invoices, customer support, safety, administrative matters, or legal notices.
